OCD!strangerface has been going through the tags and removing/renaming some. I'm trying to make it easier for people to find stuff. If you have suggestions for a tag, please let me know.
Also, I found a lot of tags that could have been interchangeable. I removed SVT in favor of Sweet Valley Twins and SVH in favor of Sweet Valley High (only SVU remains in acronym form, since that's what it says on the cover).
Reminder: There is no "Lila Fowler" tag because she demands respect. She is "Miss Lila Fowler."
There is one tag issue that I thought I'd put to a vote. There are two tags for "Saint Elizabeth of Sweet Valley." One spelled out and one abbreviated. I'd like to combine them, but don't know which to make standard.

Was Logan's mom's name ever given? According to wikipedia, it's listed as Euphorina, but I can't ever remember that in the books. I don't have the CG with me.

Feel free to delete if this isn't relevant, but.. well.. I was bored. Spacing out to House of Wax (yum, Chad Michael Murray..) and looking through the recaps, and realized I had no idea what the names of the books that WEREN'T recapped were! And it hurt my brain to think about it!!
SO! I made a list of all the books that HAVEN'T been recapped.. I'm hoping to slink up to my attic very shortly and see if any of my SVK books survived the super throwout of '09 that I planned. (I can't think about what was thrown out, because then I get very upset with myself.. But if I'd kept it all, it would have defeated the purpose of cleaning it out).
So now, I give you....

I love the title of this book. LOVE IT. I mean it’s, well, mysterious. Caroline has dolls? What kind of dolls? Why are they a mystery? I don’t get it!
Check out the cover! Jessica is wearing some kind of horrid red spangled top and it’s tucked into her Mom jeans. And their faces! They look like they found a BODY in that box! Perhaps one left for them by a tiny Crazy Margo? LET US HOPE.

You know? I’m really starting to wonder about Tiny Crazy Margo. She’s the same age as the twins. What was she doing when all this happened? What aliens visited her for advice? That’d be an awesome book series. If you’re out there, Francine Pascal, you should get on that. It’d be like Dexter for the grade-school set! A market that is yet to be cornered!

THe Animorphs have been drafted so to speak into a game between Crayak and the Ellimist. The fate of an entire race is in their hands. But when they reach the Iskoort planet, they see how strange they are, and find out a potentially dark secret. But it's also a secret that could grately impact the Yeerks.
I rather like this book the more I re-read it. It has a lot of good things to think about. The group wants to believe the howlers are pure evil but they discover they're really just children. I love the angsting Jake does even though he knew he had no choice but to destroy that one. He's also still dealing with the events of The Capture.

We find out that there can be another way for the Yeerks to live, and we can only hope they meet the Iskoort eventually and learn from them.
We learn finally about Crayak and the galactic chess game, although the Drode doesn't surface until the next book.
Rachel is funny. "My people!" about the shopper guild. Hurting that guy in the assembly when he tried to hold hands with her. "Hey, don't diss my brothers and sisters of the shopper guild!"
I also like the comment about the last six inches of Ax's tail, but I'm not sure who said it. And how they were making him scarier than he really was to keep Guide in line.

Let me take you back to a time where there were only four members of the Baby-Sitters Club. A time when the girls were still in seventh grade. A time before Super Specials and Mysteries amd Super Mysteries and Little Sister spinoffs. A time when Ann M. Martin was still writing the books and didn't use ghosties. A time when Kristy and Mary Anne still lived next door to each other on Bradford Court, across the street from Claudia. Which is where our story begins....
(BTW, is anyone else having problems accessing dibbly fresh, or is it just me?)
Mary Anne still in braids at this point, babysitting a sick Jenny P., and looking worried. This scene does occur in the book, but I figured Jenny would be more dressed-up.
( EPIC BSC FEUD!, plus Mary Anne acts all emo and mopey and feels like a giant baby. )

Please Stop Trying To Make Us Feel Bad For Mallory: By contrast, it's time the BSC Universe stops trying to get us all to feel sympathy for Mallory Pike, the Ginger with a heart of pyrite. We know she has a million brothers and sisters. We know she's awkward. We know she feels she'll never be as cool as Dawn, Claudia, or Stacey. But it's not because of her red hair and freckles, it's because of her craptacular attitude and whiny disposition. All Mallory ever does is complain. If we keep giving in to Mallory's pity parties, she's going to grow up to be that friend who calls just to say, "Oh...you're going out? That must be fun...for you," even though you've called to ask her to come along about 700 times in the past week. I know she's supposed to speak to young readers who feel that they, too, are outsiders and weirdos, but Mallory never seems to grow; for every small victory that occurs, she seems to end up right back where she started from—feeling bad for herself and manipulating others to feel the same. Either force Mallory out of her Debbie Downer stage or give us a better reason to care about her. Pity isn't going to cut it anymore.
